Who are the real victims in times of conflict/war? Should acts of terrorism/violence ever be justified? Who becomes the real victim in cases of violence and terrorism? In what ways does conflict help us to develop? What can we learn from conflict? CONFLICT

Who are the victims of conflict? How can we avoid conflict? Is conflict caused by human greed? What are the causes of conflict today? What are the side effects of conflict? What do we learn from conflict? What does conflict tell us about humanity? Why do we continue to have conflict? CONFLICT

Stress is difficult to live through. Racism is a problem that will not go away. Hope is an important part of a person’s life. Families are a valuable source of comfort. Victims should learn to fight. Compassion for others is necessary for humanity. Survival is the most important thing. Adversity makes us strong. Humour carries you through hard times. Conflict forces us to make tough decisions.

CONFLICT Humans do not learn from history. Humans will kill to protect themselves and their property. Humans can be cruel and selfish. Some humans value money over others’ lives.

CREATE 3 MORE QUESTIONS OR STATEMENTS ABOUT CONFLICT. FOR THE SHORT STORY ‘THE SNIPER’ AND THE ARTICLE ‘MOUNTAINSIDES FROM HELL’, DECIDE AND NOTE DOWN WHICH OF THE STATEMENTS YOU HAVE JUST RECORDED APPLY. Task
