The Holy Book of Acts?  These are the Acts of the Holy Spirit in the Apostles (early church).  The Acts of the Holy Spirit in the Church started on the Pentecost Day (Church’s Birthday) and has been continued (& will continue) to work in all believers unto the age of all ages.  The book of Acts is the link between the 4 Gospels and the Epistles.  It is also an introduction to the Epistles

Author, When, Where and Language?  Author: St Luke  His Gospel: (58 and 63 A.D.)  The Book of Acts: ( A.D; before 70 A.D)  Place: Rome  The language: Greek language

What are the contents of the book of Acts? I. Part I: The Jewish accept Christ (Chapters:1-12); St Peter is the apostle of Circumcision (Jews). II. Part II: the Gentiles accept Christ (Ch 13-28); St Paul is the apostle for the Gentiles.

The life of pain (Ch: 5-8 )!  Each one will be salted by fire. Salt is good but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be salty again? Have salt in yourselves and be at peace of each other (Mark 9:49).  Who wants to come with me (be my disciple), must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me (Luke 9:23).  Q: Why God allows pain?

What is the objective of the book of Acts?  The continuation of Christ’s Divine work in the church through the Acts of the Holy Spirit in the Apostles & believers. Q: Are we ready to receive, obey and rely on the Holy Spirit?  If yes, the Holy Spirit will defiantly work in us!

Christ in the book of Acts  Christ is risen-victorious and powerful-ascended God who fulfilled His promise by sending the Holy Spirit; “you shall receive power when the HS has come upon you (Acts 1:8)  Through the Holy Spirit works in the Apostles (& believers) Christ dwelled in their hearts and they witnessed to Christ (Acts 5:32).
