Anatomy Assignment Your assignment is to research each of the following communicable diseases and find information about each disease. 1. AIDS 2. Chicken Pox 3. Measles 4. Hepatitis

Library Media Center Resources There are many resources available to you in the library media center. Some resources are available online and others are print resources.

Online Resources The most comprehensive online resource available is Alabama Virtual Library. AVL can be accessed through any campus computer at www.avl.lib.al.us/

Print Resources The library media center has many books that deal with diseases. A bibliography for this assignment has been prepared for you on ATHENA. Log in to ATHENA. Click SEARCH. Then type in “communicable diseases” and click BIBLIOGRAPHY. This will give you a list of books available.

Encyclopedias Encyclopedias are one of the most concise sources of information about any topic. The library media center has 6 sets of encyclopedias available for your use on this assignment. Look up the communicable disease that you are researching. Be sure to include a bibliographic reference for the article that you use.

Assignment Using the resources available in the library media center, you are to research 4 communicable diseases for your Anatomy class. Write at least one paragraph about each disease in report format. Write a bibliography in MLA format that includes all the resources that you used.
