Steps? Client Meeting –Get every decision maker for this web project together at once or do not meet –Who is the message producer? –What is the message/purpose of the site? –Who is the target audience? –What action do you want the site viewer to take

Steps? If you are willing to take on this project, get a contract –Determine exactly what work is to be done –Determine timelines for Prep documents you will give to the client When the client give you content At what milestones payments are to be made –Include number of revisions that are included –Assign copyright –Plan for post-completion changes

Steps? Flowchart –Based on info from client interview create a flowchart –Have the flowchart approved by the client

Steps? Page Sketching –Draw out the home page and subsequent pages (if different from home page) and get the design approved

Benefits? You have a plan to follow! Client is on the same page –Reduce Re-work Expectations are clear –Client should be pleased with outcome Maintain Professionalism
