Matthew 22:42-46 (NKJV) 42 saying, "What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?" They said to Him, "The Son of David." 43 He said to them, "How then does David in the Spirit call Him 'Lord,' saying: 44 'The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool" '? 45 "If David then calls Him 'Lord,' how is He his Son?" 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

 Paul was determined that whether he lived or died, he would glorify Christ – Phili 1:20  Paul was wholly devoted to living for Jesus - Phili 1:21  Paul was wholly committed to laboring for Christ – Phili 1:22-26  Jesus was indeed everything to Paul – Gal 2:20; 2 Cor. 4:10,11

 Are you magnifying Christ in your body? – Phili 1:20  Is your life wholly devoted to Christ? - Phili 1:21  Are you wholly committed to laboring for the cause of Christ? – Phili 1:22-26  Is Christ your ALL?

 The model of humility and servitude – Phili 2:1-11  He left the glories of heaven for us to live as a man - Phili 2:6-7; John 1:14; Heb 2:9-18  He was obedient – even to the death of the cross – Phili 2:8; Mat 26:29-42; Heb 5:8.9; 10:7-9  He was exalted – Phili 2:9,10

 The model of humility and servitude – Phili 2:1-11  Sacrificing our own desires for the well-being of others? Phili 2:1,4  Being humble and self-less, instead of proud and selfish – Phili 2:2,3; Luke 18:14; Rom 12:10  Being obedient to Jesus – even to death – Rom 12:1,2; Rev 2:10

 Paul counted all things loss for Christ – Phili 3:7--16  To gain Christ - Phili 3:8  That he may be found righteous by faith in Christ – Phili 3:9  That he may know Christ, partake in His sufferings, and truly die to the world - that he may attain the resurrection – Phili 3:10,11

 Gaining Christ is worth giving up everything in this life! – Mat 13:44- 46; 19:27-29  Being righteousness before God & having fellowship with God through faith should mean everything to us!! – Phili 3:9; Ro 1:16,17; 2 Cor 5:14,15  Gaining to the resurrection is worth any suffering we may endure –Rom 8:18; Heb 3:14; 2 Tim 2:11

 Certainly we who are in Christ have reason to rejoice! – Phili 4:4; Rom 5:2; 12:12; 1 Thes 5:16; 1 Pet 4:13  Is your heart filled with worry? The remedy for worry is Christ! – 4:6,7; Mat 6:25-33; 1 Peter 5:7  To have joy – think on the things of God, and do His will – 4:8,9; Mat 5:3- 11; Rev 22:14

 If Jesus is our Life:  The Pattern of our Life -  The prize of our life –  The joy of our life –  We will be content with life – Phili 4:11,12; 1 Tim 6:6,7; Heb 13:5  We will be empowered through Him to be victorious over the world, temptation, trials, and even death -
