Scavenger Hunt Laura Harmon

Organism This is moss. The adaptation moss has is that it will only grow on the north side of a tree because there’s shade. The south side of a tree doesn’t have moss because it’s usually in the sun.

Ecosystem Diversity This is an ecosystem diversity because all the plants are different. No one plant is the exact same.

Biodiversity Decreased People cut down the trees to build a road and that causes the plant life to decrease and a less likely chance of diversity in that area.

Biodiversity and Species Richness There’s different species such as trees, branches, and leaves. These create biodiversity. The specie richness is created by the tree population.

Biosphere This is an example of a biosphere because it supports life.

Atmosphere This is an atmosphere because it shows free space and free space has air to breathe just like everywhere else.

Lithosphere This shows the earths crust, which we live on.

Hydrosphere The Hydrosphere Is the part of the earth made of water. It sustains life of organisms that live in the water.

What I found interesting I found this Devil’s walking stick interesting. I found it interesting because it’s pretty, but it hurts if you touch it. It’s much like a rose bush.
