It was founded in 1945 and it is an international organization. It has cooperation in, international security, social progress, human rights, world peace... There are 192 member states and regular meetings are held throughout the year.

It is one of the United Nations specialized agency. Its objective is the attainment of highest possible level of health. Its main activity are carrying out research on medical development.

It was founded in Its objective is to advocate children’s rights and basic needs. Its main activity is to provide support and help for children.

Its head office is in New York. Main activity is to carry out research on endangered animals and plants. Its aim is to protect the wild life.

It has 153 members, and 30 observers. Vietnam is the 150 th member of this organization in 7/11/2006. It is an organization that focuses on international trade.

Five programmes: education, natural sciences, social and human sciences, culture, and communication and information. World Heritage Sites is one for its activities. Nha Nhac Cung Dinh and Ca tru are also recognized as world cultural heritageby this organization.
