What is a X-Deck? The X-Deck is a safety award winning portable work platform. It is lighter and easier to set up than traditional scaffolding and safer than a ladder. The X-Deck is an always assembled pop open scaffolding. Click on the video to start

Features of the X-Deck: SAFETY The X-Deck is FIRST AND FOREMOST A SAFETY PRODUCT. Unlike traditional scaffolding that forces you to climb up stairs on the outside and climb over a rail, the X-Deck allows you to walk up comfortably and without any strain. The X-Deck comes standard with a handrail which most traditional scaffolding lacks. The X-Deck has a built in ANTI-SLIP, ANTI-TIP design that allows workers to work the full length and get their work done without fear of losing their tread or the product wanting to tip over. Features : Anti – Tip and Anti – Slip design Less Fatigue while working or setting up and tearing down Safety Accessories: The cage handrails are an option on the 18” wide models but come standard on the 36” wide models. Rung Safety Bars (A flip up bar on the steps) give 4-points of contact. Kick plates can be added to cage handrails upon request. UPDATE: THE X-DECK WAS NOMINATED FOR THE TIPS AWARD BY THE PALISADES NUCLEAR POWER PLANT. TIPS IS THE TOP PRACTICE IN SAFETY AWARD.

Features of the X-Deck: PRODUCTIVITY The X-Deck is extremely portable. The X-Deck can fold flat and pop open in seconds. It is simple and easy to setup. The X-Deck will allow you to get to your job site either carrying or rolling your X- Deck and then in a matter of seconds completely setup the one unit or maybe even a second unit and a connecting board and get to the job at hand. This will allow you to easily move the X- Deck from job site to job site and be more productive. The long deck of the X-Deck means workers do not have to go up and down to move the scaffolding or ladder to get the job done. They can just use the full length of the X-Deck. Plus with 2 or more units and the connecting board. You can set up over 20ft. of walkway in a minute! Selling Points: 1.Some businesses have to have scaffolding tagged and inspected before it can be used to make sure the scaffolding was properly assembled. Because the X-Deck is never disassembled and comes ready to go out of the box it is considered always assembled scaffolding and does not need to be tagged and inspected before usage. 2.Multiple units can be stacked on a pallet for easy storage or shipping. An X-Deck is only 5” thick when folded flat. They can even be hung from a wall so they do not take up any space! 3.Mobility is productivity. Being able to set up faster and get the job done quicker and safer.

VALUE INVESTMENT From a survey of users, we found that most people save from 20 minutes to 3 hours per day by switching to the SafeTec work Platforms. Using a shop rate of $50.00/hr., and using the low estimate of 20 minutes per day, the portable platform would create a saving of $4100/yr. per platform. Even factoring in employee ’ s cost (at minimum wage) and overhead, your yearly savings would normally be between $1200-$2500 per year by using the SafeTec Platform ™. Note: The SafeTec Platforms normally outlast traditional ladders by up to 10 times. In ADDITION, YOUR ADDED SAFETY OF THIS PLATFORM WILL NORMALLY REDUCE WORKMANS COMPENSATION AND OTHER RELATED INJURY COSTS. Remember to invest in safety because even one ladder accident could cost you way more than an X-Deck. Costs include: lost time, training a new employee, worker’s comp, medical costs, delays

How to choose an X-Deck 1)Find out how high the customer needs to go. Each X-Deck goes about 1ft higher than the # of steps. Keep in mind that most customers want the biggest one we make, but customers that have different sized models always use the smaller ones more. 2)Choose the Deck size – Either 18” or 36”. 3)Decide if you want to get 2 or more units and a connecting board with handrail. (Note a connecting board connects 2 units together.) 4)Choose accessories: 1)18” models come standard with a single sided handrail: 1)Mod Cage Handrails 2)Rung Safety Bars 3)Telescoping Legs 4)Wheel Kits 5)Upgraded OMNI Wheels on Wheel Kits 6)Work Trays – Standard or XL 2)36” models come standard with the Mod Cage Handrails: 1)Rung Safety Bars 2)Telescoping Legs 3)All Terrain Wheel Kit and Dolly Combo 4)Work Trays – Standard or XL Click on the video to start
