Personalized Search? Search Engine: A Vital Need Next level of Intelligent Information Retrieval. Retrieval of Information based on user data  User’s Interests  Browsing Behavior  Geographic Location  Context of Query

Personalized? Search Engine typically returns thousands to millions of documents Eliminates unwanted web pages Learn about the user and return highly targeted results Personalization is not easy, it could be a nuisance if wrongly done

Location Based Search Searches within Geographical Context of the user “Geospatially Enabled Search” or “Local Search” Adds Geo Coding. - Adding locality parameter to the search
