STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVE (SLO) PROCESS TEMPLATE SLO is a process to document a measure of educator effectiveness based on student achievement of content standards. SLOs are a part of Pennsylvania’s multiple-measure, comprehensive system of Educator Effectiveness authorized by Act 82 (HB 1901). 1.Classroom Context 1a. Name Greta Garbo 1b. X/Y = Z Y = number of students (60) X = the number of students who achieved 85% or more on the Income, Profit and Wealth Unit Test (55) Z = converts to the percentage that scored 85% or higher 55/60 = 91.6%

Proficient 80% to 89% of students will meet the PI targets. Distinguished 90% to 100% of students will meet the PI targets. Using one or multiple tests: X/Y = Z Y = number of students per test ( =125) X = the number of students who achieved 85% or more on each test ( = 114 ) Z = converts to the percentage that scored 85 % or higher 114 /125 = 91 %
