Development of a PCR for Green Coffee production September 2012 Update

What is SAI Platform? A food companies platform launched in 2002 by Nestlé, Unilever, Danone. Today with over 40 member companies & affiliates Global – with representatives in Europe, NA but also Argentina, Australia and now China Pre competitiveness is our strength 5 crop specific working groups (beef, coffee, fruit, dairy, arable crops) and 1 on water& agriculture Knowledge network of corporate and external experts 2

Definition of Sustainable Agriculture Sustainable agriculture is a productive, competitive and efficient way to produce safe agricultural products, while at the same time protecting and improving the natural environment and social/economic conditions of local communities. 3
