Technicians also organize and manage health information data by ensuring its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security. They regularly communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses or to obtain additional information.

 To be a medical records and health information technicians you to have an associate degree from a community or junior college.  Advancement usually requires 2 to 4 years of job experience and completion of a hospital's in-house training program.

 Medical and health service mangers  Medical transcriptionist  technicians may choose to specialize or become managers.  There is a 20% increase through 2018.
