 15th day of the 1st lunar month. Which is either in February or March.  It’s celebrated my Chinese and Vietnamese people.  Its celebrated in many ways, from firework displays and laser shows.  It takes place under a full moon, and marks the end of the Chinese New Year.

 Victory day is celebrated on July 27.  Its celebrated for all the wars Korea has been through.  Citizens lay wreaths and flowers at military cemeteries and monuments nationwide.

 On this day parents work while kids have little celebrations during the day.  A play performance, a writing competition, or a drawing competition would be held.  Its celebrated in Japan and South Korea

 People that lived along the river put cooked rice in the river as a sacrifice. But then they found that the fish ate the rice so people wrapped the cooked rice in bamboo leaves. Now a days people eat rice-and-meat dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves.  Chinese known as dragon is God of the water world. Today, water remains central to the festival and each year teams compete in dragon boat races.  The celebration's is a time for protection from evil and disease for the rest of the year.
