In other country In Japan, they eat Red bean porridge on this day. – it means the end of the new year – 小正月（こしょうがつ， kosyougatsu ） In Malaysia, they throwing oranges and citrus to the river. – Unmarried men and women – write down the names and contact information on it – They wish that can help them to find their husband/ wife in future.

5. When is it celebrate it? 15 th of the first month in Chinese calendar(the first Full moon in a year) Usually on February ~March, it marks the end of the Chinese New Year Holiday

Chinese (lunar)calendar – Lunar calendar is based on the phases of the moon different then the Gregorian calendar that based on the sun. – perfected by the Chinese around 500 BC – In most of East Asia today: Gregorian calendar - day-to-day activities Chinese calendar - marking traditional holidays – Japan substitute the lunar calendar to Gregorian calendar, but still keep the traditional holiday.
