Facts for March 23 March World Meteorological Day Meteorology is the study of the changes in temperature, air pressure, moisture and wind pressure. Why do we have weather? Eco Club Earth Hour WWF’s Earth Hour is a global annual event where hundreds of millions of people switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about our planet. It’s about people from across the gobe coming together to create a symbolic and spectacular lights out display and asking for change. It happens every year between 8.30 – 9.30pm on the last Saturday in March starting in Samoa and finishing in Tahiti. Its been growing every year, with more and more countries signing up – last year 162 countries took part! We want to mark the occasion in school again and it would be great if we could have an HOUR WITHOUT POWER. This will take place on Friday 27 March – 12.15

Eco Club We would like to have a think about what we are saving our power for. Follow this link - to watch a short vedeo by Cel Spellmen. Papdale could go ‘. Bunting Crazy’. It would be great if each child in school would design an A4 triangle to hand on the bunting. We want to use paper that has one side already used as this helps us keep this important message in mind. Have fun designing your triangle. We think we can do this together and make a difference for our world. Be an Eco Super Hero –
