The Magic of Prepositions Prepositions have the ability to magically change the meaning of a sentence.

Prepositional Phrases Prepositional phrases begin with a preposition and end with the object of a preposition. The object of the preposition is usually a noun which comes after the preposition with an article between the two words. The object of the preposition will answer the question "What?". Eg-Rule Strategy (Inductive) The underlined part of the sentence is a prepositional phrases. The pizza in the oven is mine. The girl by the door is my sister. The runners raced around the track.
