Timeline 1933- Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party comes into power in Germany. 1935- The Nuremberg Laws are passed—stripping Jews of their rights as citizens in Germany. The Star of David is required to be worn by all Jews. 1939- Germany invaded Poland– triggering the start of WWII. 1929- Anne Frank is born in Frankfurt, Germany. 1933- Mr. Frank moves his family to the Netherlands. 1941- The Frank girls are forced to attend an all Jewish school. 1942- Margot receives a letter to report to a labor camp– the family decides to go into hiding.
