 Length of Program- 4 Years  Cost of Program- The cost of the program per year is $21,678 and an additional $1,200 for books.  Exit Qualifications/Credentials and the Transferability of Those Qualifications- Students who take this course will have many hours of sport skill lessons, they will also be able to take Human Kinetics Specialist Theory courses.

 Prerequisites- English 11 and 12 or English 11 and 12 First Peoples, One approved grade 11 second language, High School Diploma, One grade 12 math or science, Social Studies 11, One grade 11 Science course, Two additional approved provincially examinable grade 12 courses.  Type of Program and Content Covered- A bachelor program which concentrates on Kinesiology, Health Science, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Professional Sports teams, schools, and more.

 Length of Program- 4 Years Cost of Program- $5,644/year and an additional $1,400 for books and supplies.  Exit Qualifications/Credentials and the Transferability of Those Qualifications- Students who take this course will come out with 3 months of Co-operative work placement, and will have field experience.

 Prerequisites- Chemistry 11, English 11 and 12 or English 11 and 12 First Peoples, Physics 1, Pre-Calculus 11 and 12, Social Studies 1, two approved Science course, and a high school diploma  Type of Program and Content Covered- An Undergraduate Degree which concentrates on: Active Health and Rehabilitation, Ergonomics/Human Factors, and Health and Physiological Studies.

 Length of Program- 4 Years Cost of Program- $5,698 per year, and an additional $624 per term for Co-op Fees  Exit Qualifications/Credentials and the Transferability of Those Qualifications- Students who take this course will come out with a wide knowledge of how the body moves and many hours of experience in their field.

 In Summary, I would choose the Kinesiology program offered at the University of Victoria. I chose this program, mostly because of the location. Most of the programs were the same length and had the same amount of prerequisites. Also I love the atmosphere of Victoria, it’s a beautiful city, as well as the campus. The idea of living on Vancouver Island is also quite appealing. Therefore, I would choose to study Kinesiology at the University of Victoria.
