Strategic Plan Overview Process began in January Four task forces assigned to drive strategic priorities – Government Affairs – Economic Development – Technology – Operational Alignment 5

Priority 1: Enhance Chamber’s Impact on Government Milestones Identify issues to get behind Explore/pursue forming a dedicated Political Action Committee Define how to step up role as voice of business community Identify/evaluate ways to implement accountability measures for local government 6

Priority 2: Promote a Public/Private Partnership for Economic Development Milestones: Collaborate to accelerate business, job & career growth Assess community understanding of economic development – Assist with education & communication efforts Complete manufacturing/agriculture survey – Raise awareness of capabilities Maintain focus & support progress of Customer Service Task Force 7

Priority 3: Leverage Technology Milestones: Launch text message marketing platform Enhance Develop Chamber mobile APP Incorporate online meeting capabilities Use Chamber visitor center TVs to market events, promote members and drive website traffic Goal: Enhance existing technology & implement new medias to promote the Chamber to members & the general public 8

Priority 4: Align Activities & Resources with Mission & Vision Milestones: Conduct review of business lines Develop strategies to streamline, augment & enhance business Implement strategies Assess effectiveness at regular intervals. Modify strategies as necessary. 9
