What is BANNED Books Week?

How many of you have read the Hunger Games Series? Or?

These along with many other are considered banned books. A banned book is a book that has been targeted to be removed or restricted from classrooms and libraries.

This week celebrates the freedom to read. it highlights the value of free and open access to information. Banned Books Week draws national attention to the harms of censorship. Banned Books Week

Books are usually challenged with the best intentions—to protect others from difficult ideas and information. This is none the less harmful. Banned Books Week
