TEAM ALPENTAL SNOQUALMIE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM ‘15-’16 SEASON

| TEAM ALPENTAL SNOQUALMIE | SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM TEAM ALPENTAL SNOQUALMIE OVERVIEW WHO WE ARE TAS is a premier alpine ski racing program in the Pacific Northwest. We offer the highest level of physical training, professional staff and positive motivation to help aspiring young athletes achieve their racing potential. TAS provides opportunities for athletes to develop racing skills, alongside life skills, both of which are fundamental to the growth of a well-rounded maturing athlete. We emphasize a healthy lifestyle and appreciation for the outdoors. WHAT MAKES TAS SPECIAL Founded over 40 years ago, our program helps young skiers grow both on and off the slopes with athletes starting as early as age 7 and going all the way through our Junior program at age 19. We are proud of the balance TAS provides in producing outstanding skiers who have developed a true love and respect for their sport, the competition, and the beautiful environments in which they race. TAS athletes thrive on winning but value sportsmanship and are coached how to win gracefully and to accept and learn from defeat. Results matter and TAS has produced outstanding athletes who have excelled at all levels. Debbie Armstrong, Olympic Gold Medalist at Sarajevo in 1984, got her racing start with TAS. More recently, TAS has won team and individual titles across the age and ability classifications including U12 Cascade Cup Champions, U14 Women’s Buddy Werner Champions, and Anna Mounsey who raced to numerous U18 National titles. TAS CORE VALUES Performance: Emphasize athlete performance, not results Team work: Instill sportsmanship and integrity Responsibility: Promote citizenship on and off the hill Preparation: Encourage strong work ethic and skill development Fun: Foster a lifelong love for the sport Active & Healyhy Lifestyles: Nurture the development of the athletes body and mind Athlete Safety: Provide a safe environment for training, racing and recreational skiing

TAS SPONSORSHIP | TEAM ALPENTAL SNOQUALMIE | SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP TAS operations are funded largely through tuition and fundraising events, but Corporate Sponsors play a critical role in overall team finances. TAS accomplishments require more than training and hard work on the part of athletes, parents and coaches, they also depend on sponsorships from local businesses to offset a significant portion of expenses. Funds raised allow TAS to improve our training and race equipment, both of which are critical to the continued development of our program. Corporate Sponsorship is a major contributor to the TAS Scholarship Fund. The TAS Scholarship Fund serves as the team’s financial aid and includes 4 types of scholarship grants; 1) Merit Scholarship based on athletic accomplishment, 2) Financial Aid Scholarship, 3) Scholastic Achievement Scholarship and 4) Grants for Special Projects such as summer camps, elite level races, or equipment. Olympic champions Bode Miller, Tommy Moe, Picabo Street and our own Debbie Armstrong were all supported throughout their skiing careers by the generosity of sponsors. The TAS Education Foundation is a 501c3 registered tax-exempt entity and all sponsor donations are tax deductible to the full extent of tax laws. TESTIMONIALS Hartley Baysinger, Parent of Linnea Baysinger Linnea was a member of TAS for 7 years. We joined the TAS family when she was ten. She grew up with the team and through it she has learned about life. Ski racing has given her self-esteem a positive attitude, discipline and great friendships. It has taught her that if you set a goal and work hard you can achieve it. She has made great industry ties through sponsorships and has learned to correspond with them and be a responsible representative. We could never have found a better avenue for her to grow up on. Thank you to our TAS family. Scott Richards, Parent of Taylor Richards When I was racing as a kid with Team Alpental/TAS if you were to ask me what I thought about it I would have replied, "It's fun". What I did not realize then is that while it was fun, it also instilled in me preparation, tenacity, self-reliance and focus. Having the opportunity to now watch my kids develop with TAS as skiers having "fun" I am inspired by how they are applying the skills they have acquired in skiing to other challenges they face, be it school, other sports or goal setting. Life is fun and while they are certainly doing that with TAS, more importantly they are learning how to ski life. Taylor Richards, U14 Athlete, Age 13 TAS means to me going skiing with all my friends, great coaches and learning something while I am at it. TAS is fun because if you mess up no one cares and you learn from your mistakes. It is my getaway from school and stress. I can go and forget all about school/homework and all the other things I do not want to think about, and have the time of my life! When I'm on the race course I think I can do anything, I feel great but I would not have come this far without TAS! Denny Littlefield, TAS U12 Lead Coach, Parent of Ally Littlefield Ever since I was a young boy, skiing has been a passion. Every week that I get the opportunity to share my passion with my children and other young athletes is truly a blessing. TAS has been such a wonderful vehicle for me personally, not only to give back to the sport that I love, but it also feeds me energy and nourishes my soul. As a parent and a coach in the program I am doubly blessed. Ally Littlefield, U18 Athlete, Age 19 TAS has given me so much during my time racing. I have made lifelong friends. I have had role models to look up to, and this year being a senior on the team I hope I have become a good role model and friend for the upcoming athletes. By going to races and traveling with the TAS team I have learned independence and how to work with others. I will miss TAS so much next year! | TEAM ALPENTAL SNOQUALMIE | SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
