 Cost-effective in cold climates with good solar resources.  Displace more expensive heating fuels, such as electricity, propane, and oil.  Some states offer sales tax exemptions, income tax credits or deductions, and property tax exemption.  Life span-decades  Reduce air pollution.  Reduce GHG.  Reduce heating bills.

 High initial costs.  Limited location.  Solar cells can only produce direct current.  No sun- rely on other energy resource.  Some carbon
