Why should GNDR do it? GNDR is recognized as a credible and legitimate actor by governments and the UN for its ability to mobilize a vast network; coordinating local organisations to report on local conditions. These qualities place GNDR ideally to investigate and report on how Action and Learning can strengthen people-centred resilience. GNDR’s 500 CSO members operate worldwide. VFL methodology draws together CSOs in data gathering, analysis and advocacy.

Funding... Some financial resources will be available... Costs of reporting during the project Small grants available where a member and community make a case for 'pump-priming' a particular action. The goal of the programme is to document the experiences of community-led initiatives, owned by the community, rather than to promote and fund externally driven and resourced projects. “The great thing about GNDR is it’s not an NGO!”

End Products 1.Analysis of all programmes, leading to production of reports presenting findings on factors which enable local populations to reduce their vulnerability, and factors that constrain them. 2.Shared learning between all members through resources, website and capacity building events 3.Reports and presentations to be used in national, regional and international advocacy for a focus on people-centred resilience in post-2015 frameworks
