2 HISTORY The National Center for the Training of Bank Personnel of Ukraine was established by the National Bank of Ukraine and the Association of Ukrainian Banks on November 17, 1993 by the decree of the Parliament of Ukraine 3613-XII "On establishing the National Center for the Training of Bank Personnel" and with support of USAID and Barents Group/KPMG. The Center is created as the institution acting on unprofitable basis and self-financing. 3 National Center for the Training of Bank Personnel of Ukraine HISTORY During the Center was a sub-contractor of Barents Group RepOf in implementation of the programs under the projects Introduction of IAS into the banking system of Ukraine and Establishment of an internal audit system in commercial banks according to IAS.
