Evidence-Informed Practice Statement Canadian chiropractors adopt evidence-informed practice principles to guide clinical decision making by integrating their clinical expertise, patient preference and values, and the best available scientific evidence.

André Bussières, Jeff Quon, Simon French, Kent Stuber Presentation of the national network of local networks Preliminary findings from four ongoing projects Benefits to clinicians and patients of such a network Discussion of the practical implications of a PBRN Opportunities to participate in a new PBRN project Expected outcome: roadmap for a future research project

CCA National Convention CCGI workshops (Sept ) 2. Update of KT Strategies and Interactive Workshop for Practitioners on Multimodal Care Facilitators: Dr. André Bussières and CCGI Opinion Leaders Presentation of CCGI projects and tools (opinion leader program, website, webinar series, video and clinical vignettes) Two 30 minute group activities, offering hands-on experience in applying clinical management tools to facilitate the provision of multimodal therapy for patients with various conditions Expected outcome: clinicians will gain awareness of new best practice recommendations and clinical management tools for multimodal care

Next steps Recommendations for WAD, Upper and Lower Extremities and Thoracic Spine to be provided to the profession in Fall 2015; Implementation of KT strategies in 2016; Translation of the website expected to be completed by late Spring 2015; Social media strategy expected to increase website and LinkedIn traffic, and increase communication between clinicians;

Next steps CCGI Opinion Leaders implementation of their plan for disseminating and promoting best practice at the provincial level ongoing; Hiring of CCGI Knowledge Broker will increase capacity; Launching of three local PBRNs with seed funding from CCGI expected Summer/Fall 2015;

Next steps CCGI Exhibitor Booth, meetings and workshops at the CCA National Convention expected to reach wide audience; Ongoing research studies are testing the effectiveness of our interventions; Discussions ongoing with a view to developing collaborative funding and research opportunities.
