Etiquette PPT Computer Applications Spring 2013

Overview Create a presentation outlining 5 etiquette rules. 1.Research at least 3 different webpages on etiquette, appropriateness or the like (keep track of all sources for later). 2.From your research, select what you would consider the top 5 rules of . 3.Create a PowerPoint presentation describing these 5 rules. For examples on how to cite in PPT, see the last two slides.

Grade Breakdown Content of Presentation (10 points) Formatting of Slide (10 points) Slides needed in presentation (10 points) Correct Citation of Work (5 points) Presentation (15 points) Printed Handout—6 slides per page (5 points) Presentation Listener Form (5 points) Total: 60 points

Content Include the website(s) from which you found the rule Include an example of an message that disregards all 5 rules Include the “corrected” . Include one direct quote from one of the websites and cite accordingly. *The rest of the presentation is in your own words. Excessive copy and pasting will result in an F and you having to restart a new presentation.

Formatting Include an image (clipart) on each rule slide Include a design theme or background color changes Include animations for words and bullets Make sure your PPT is easy to see (use contrasting colors and large, easy-to-read fonts)
