Presentation transcript:

The Mastery of Procrastination ; an important step to riches

1. Lack of decision is one of the major cause of failure. 2. Procrastination is the opposite of decision and its an enemy everyone of us must conquer. 3. If you must succeed, you must master the habit of reaching decisions promptly and of changing these decisions slowly, if need be.

4. People who fail to accumulate money, actually do the opposite of the last statement. 5. Henry Ford, Model T(the world’s ugliest car) Vs his advisers and purchasers of the car. 6. People who are easily influenced by the opinion of others never make a head way in life eg, newspapers, “gossiping” neighbors.

7. Take into your confidence, carefully selected “master mind” group. Close friends and relations can handicap you through their opinions, in a s much as they do not mean to. 8. Use your brain and mind to reach your own decisions. 9. You can acquire information to make your decisions without disclosing the purpose.

10. If you want to be a prompt decision maker, keep your eyes and ears wide open and your mouth closed. Those who talk too much, do little else. 11. Genuine wisdom is usually conspicuous through modesty and silence. 12. Let one of your first decisions be to “keep a closed mouth and open ears and eyes.

 TELL THE WORLD WHAT YOU INTEND TO DO, BUT FIRST SHOW IT – deeds and not words, are what count most.  Activity vs. Result

 The value of a decision depends on the courage required to make it.  Independence of America – declaration of independence – 56 men signed their names and lives away.  FACT – 98% out of every 100 people working for wages today are in positions they hold because they lacked THE DEFINITENESS OF DECISION to plan a definite position and knowledge of how to choose an employer.

 Fred smith – founder of Federal Express(FEDEX) – Air freight  48 hours of delivery of packages  Global business  A decision not backed up by immediate action is incomplete and just a statement of intent. It holds no power nor value.  THANK YOU!
