1920’s-1930 Babe Ruth represents America in the 20’s “Roaring 20’s” excitement over the new culture that was emerging. Rules were being broken for women and men in dress, work, hairstyles, dance etc. part of the larger moral decline Boom time in the economy Ruth Broke the “rules” in baseball with homeruns and brought a needed boom time for the sport (saving baseball following the Black Sox Scandal)
