Relay for Life Cancer Walk May 16 th, 2014 By: Lauren Wilson

Do you want service hours? Do you want a fun, heartwarming experience? Do you want to help find a cure for cancer? If you said yes to any of these, then Relay is right for you!!

Relay for Life is an overnight, 12 hour carnival-like walk that supports the American Cancer Society. Games Music Movies Food Walking Fundraising

All you have to do is get a form, pay $10 and find some friends to form a team! Come up with a team name Choose a team captain Now your ready to Relay!

YOU can help! If half of AK signed up, we would raise over $14,000 which for a cancer patient means… - help paying for chemo and radiation - MRI and CAT scans - blood and bone marrow transfusions - hospital bills - port changes -money for cancer research -and more We can help find a cure for cancer, and it starts NOW!

Do you have a loved one that is fighting cancer, a survivor of cancer or a cancer angel? Do this for them!!

In 2012, there were about 13.7 million cancer survivors in the US. What can we do to make that number higher?

Approximately 580,350 Americans are supposed to die of cancer this year…that’s 1,600 people dying of cancer per day. What can we do to make that number lower?

We can start by working together to Relay for Life! Not only do you get service hours but you get to know that you made a difference in so many cancer patients lives!

If you’re interested in Relay or have any questions find me, Lauren Wilson, or contact me at !
