Presentation transcript:

Stackpole is a part of the national trust as well as a eco-centre. It sits on top of a hill that leads down to the eight arch bridge. There’s a man made lake made by the Cambell's of Cawdor. They were the owners of Stackpole for a while. John Muir award The John Muir award is about sharing, exploring, conserving and discovering. We discovered and tasted different foods like wild garlic and it’s flowers. We also discovered different animals like razorbills, Herons, fulmars, badger paths and a swan nesting. We explored lots of different places around Stackpole like beaches, quarries rock pools and the remains of the Campbell's house.

The journey started at 7:30 and we arrived there around 12:00. They tried putting on a DVD but the TV kept freezing and didn’t work. When we arrived everyone cheered for at least 5 minutes. The driver put on radio 1 but it just sounded like a witch cackling. This is were we stopped during the journey to Stackpole

Stackpole is part of Pembrokeshire, south whales. It’s beautiful countryside is much better than the bustling city. Stackpole also has a lot of history to it as well. A family from Scotland made a holiday home (although they spent lots of time there), they were called the Campbell's of Cawdor. Most of year five went and some teachers. Also some people didn’t go but they still did activities here at school instead of doing loads of work, while the others have a holiday. Barafundle bay

Razorbills In this group Kirsten fell in a rock pool and nearly drowned. She also scared a prawn out of its skin. Guillemots In this one Billy slipped and flied down the rock in rock climbing.
