Romulus and Remus Romulus and Remus was the twin sons of Rhea Silvia and Mars. Romulus wants to build the new city on the Palatine Hill, but Remus prefers the Aventine Hill. They agree to determine the site through augury. Then Romulus kills Remus. So Romulus names the new city Rome, after himself.

Numa Pompilius Numa Pompilius ( BC) was the second King of Rome. Numa was the youngest of the Pomponius' four sons. He lived a life of discipline and banished all luxury from his home.

Tullus Tullus Hostilius ruled Rome about B.C. He was the third King of Rome. He lived through the legendary period whose records were destroyed in the Fourth century B.C.

Ancus Marcius The Fourth King of Rome ( B.C.) He became king after the death of Tullus. Ancus was the grandson of Numa, the second king of Rome. After 24 years of ruling Rome, Ancus passed away.

L. Tarquinius Superbus ( B.C.) was the seventh King of Rome. He is more commonly known by Tarquinius Superbus. His father was the fifth king of Rome ( B.C)

Servius Tullius Born a slave, he was the sixth legendary king of Rome ( BC) When he was a little boy, his head caught on fire. But somehow he continued to sleep. When the child woke up, the flames went out. Tanaquil told her husband that the flames were a sign that this slave boy was special. From then on, Servius Tullius was raised by Tarquin as if he were his own son.

Gaius Julius Caesar Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus (23 September 63 BC – 19 August AD 14) is considered the first emperor of the Roman Empire, which he ruled alone from 27 BC until his death in AD. When Gaius Octavius Thurinus was born, he was adopted by his great-uncle Gaius Julius Caesar in 44 BC.

Tiberius Was Roman Emperor from 14 AD to 37 AD. The son of the aristocratic Tiberius Claudius Nero and Livia Drusilla. When Tiberius was two, his father had to flee Rome. When Tiberius was four his parents parents divorced and his mother instead married Octavian.
