Paws for a Cause

Welcome!  Welcome to Paws For A Cause!  This club is not about dogs but maybe in the future we can do a volunteer project for dogs  This club is really about us as members raising money/awareness for those in our COMMUNITY (for ex: students/their immediate family members) who suffer from various cancers/diseases

How will I contribute to this club?  Throughout the year we will have 1-2 major events that members can volunteer at  Additionally we will be volunteering at small-scale activities  Every month we plan on spreading awareness of a certain cancer or disease  You will be able to receive service hours

How will I contribute to this club?  We will be assigning committees so YOU can individually contribute to this club  The following committee(s) include:  Fundraising Committee : helps plan fundraisers  Awareness Committee : gather information/spread awareness of cancer or disease every month  Event Planning Committee : help plan major events  Site Committee : find site(s) to any events  Community Resources Committee : research any places to volunteer at  We will be looking for leaders to lead different committees…if you are interested please

Upcoming Events  October 4 th : Bleacher Clean Up- after the football game we will need your help to clean up the bleachers. This will count as community service hours!!  November 8 th -10 th Susan G. Koman 3 Day Walk: Help us support Mrs. Shealey as she walks for cancer!
