What is PATINS? SW PATINS  PATINS is an Indiana Department of Education, Division of Special Education Assistive Technology Initiative.  The over-all goal of this initiative is to help the school planning districts in Indiana build their commitments and their capacity to respond to the assistive technology needs of children with disabilities.

Delivery of Services PATINS is a broad-based, grassroots initiative which serves Indiana schools through 5 regional sites. SW PATINS

The Mission Statement of PATINS To provide systematic training and access to adaptations and technology tools which enable students to have the skills to control and direct their own lives. SW PATINS

Objectives of PATINS Training Resources Technical Assistance Access to Equipment SW PATINS

Training Training is provided on specific devices or software upon request from the district, school, or teacher. Many educational workshops are planned during the year. The workshops are generally offered online via GoToMeeting, Skype, Tokbox, Second Life, etc.
