RESCUE SQUAD OFFICER: Company Officer / Senior Firefighter trained to TECHNICIAN level in the discipline they will be operating in. RESCUE SPECIALISTS: TECHNICIAN level preferred… OPERATIONS level required in the discipline they will be operating in. MEDICAL SPECIALIST: Licensed Paramedic… Must have completed the FEMA / USAR MEDICAL SPECIALIST COURSE. OPERATIONS level required in the discipline they will be operating in. TECHNICAL SEARCH SPECIALISTS: Must have completed the FEMA TECHNICAL SEARCH SPECIALISTS COURSE. *** MUST HAVE WRITTEN CLEARANCE FROM THEIR DEPARTMENT TO PARTICIPATE.
