Bible Lesson - Jacob

Genesis 25, 27, 28 Isaac is the son of Abraham and Sarah. Rebekah is the wife of Isaac. Jacob and Esau are the sons of Isaac.

Listen for: Did Rebekah have a favorite son? What did Esau do with his birthright? Why did Isaac bless Jacob instead of Esau? Why did Jacob leave home? Who did he meet at the well?

Review Jacob did not always do what was right. He stole his brother’s blessing. God made promises to Jacob. God keeps His promises.

Blessings Jacob needed the blessing of God. He wanted the blessing of God. Christians do not need to steal blessings. God has already given us all spiritual blessings through Christ.
