“All But My Life” Gerda was able to survive her imprisonment by Nazis by the memories of her family and her happy childhood home.

“All But My Life” One reason Gerda survived the Death March was because she obeyed her dad and wore ski boots on the day she was taken away.

“All But My Life” Gerda got her life back when she married the American soldier that liberated her from the Nazis. He was a German Jew whose parents had sent him to America.

The Diary of Anne Frank Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl is the source of the play.

The Diary of Anne Frank The play is set in Amsterdam, Holland, during World War II.

The Diary of Anne Frank Plays are divided into acts.

The Diary of Anne Frank  All Jews were required to wear a yellow Star of David on their clothing.  Their rations were cut when the suppliers of the ration books were arrested.

The Outsiders Johnny and Ponyboy almost died when they rescued the children from the burning church.

The Outsiders  Cherry helps Pony realize that not all Socs and Greasers are alike.  “Things are rough all over.”-Cherry

The Outsiders  Pony reacts to Johnny’s death by pretending Johnny wasn’t dead.  By “Stay gold,” Johnny meant that Pony should stay sensitive and kind.
