Discovery Activity You are working after alone school to finish an important partner project. You realize you are missing data that had been sent to your partner. You know your partner’s computer login information, so you log in to get the information. In doing so you notice the information your partner has a folder titled “personal.” In that folder, you find a file that contains private information about him/her that should be reported to a counselor, because you feel it is in your partner’s best interest. You feel you should report it, but there is a strict school policy against using another student’s computer login information without consent from the student. If you report the information, then your partner will know you used their login. What do you do in this situation? Copyright © Texas Education Agency, All right reserved. 5
