Biodegradable Plastics

Biodegradable plastics Biodegradable plastics made with plant-based materials have been available for many years.

Biodegradable plastics Their high cost has meant they have never replaced traditional non-degradable plastics in the mass market.

Biodegradable Materials These are biodegradable materials, which means they will break down in time and become part of the earth without harming it at all. In fact, these materials can help fertilize the soil and nourish plants. Banana peels, apple cores and other things that originally came from the earth are biodegradable. These items are not recycled.

Plastic waste Plastic waste causes untold damage to the environment as well as costing governments millions of dollars every year for disposal. Plastic waste such as bags and food cartons often ends up in landfill sites or discarded on the street. Incineration of plastic waste causes toxic gases to pollute the air.

Plastic waste Plastic waste such as bags and food cartons often ends up in landfill sites or discarded on the street. Incineration of plastic waste causes toxic gases to pollute the air.

Nvyro! Nvyro addresses this problem head on with its biodegradable cassava starch based food packaging. This innovative product does not harm the environment, as it is completely biodegradable. The containers can hold any type of food, whether hot, cold, solid or liquid, and can also be used in a microwave. The containers are even edible!
