Step #2 Identify and write the unknown variable. Ex:a = ?

Step #3 Choose the most appropriate equation, and solve it for the unknown variable. Ex: V f - V o = a t a = V f - V o / t

Step #4 Plug N Chug Enter the values with units. a = (10 m/s – 0 m/s) / 2 s Perform the necessary math. Write your answer with units. a = 5 m/s^2

Step #5 Check your answer. Do the units make sense? Does the magnitude seem right?
