Linux System

What is Linux?  Linux is considered one of the most dangerous existing systems nowadays and is currently working in an environment of X- WINDOWS. Linux is also a free version of the famous Unix system, which was, in the beginning, developed initially by "Linus Torvalds" with a team of programmers across the Internet.  

How Linux does work?  It works through a protected Mode where it supports entirely the multitasking. Linux system contains a free environment that called X-Windows, which is considered a drawing environment similar to Microsoft Windows and it contains a system similar to Dose called DOSEMU.This system could carry out numbers of Microsoft DOSE programs, which includes those programs that need drawing possibilities. Microsoft windows programs could work on X-Windows through WINE. Because of Linux strong advantages, the Windows programs could work ten times more of their normal speed, as it is expected from the most Yonux systems. Linux is also contains advanced capabilities for nets, in which those who developed Linux system had cooperated and used Internet to develop it. AND IT ALSO SUPPORTS THE WORK OF NETS IN ITS FIRST STAGES.

Linux's Features:  Multitasking  Virtual Memory  USING THE FATEST BROTOCOL TCP/IP  Multi-User, this means that hundreds of users could use only one system at the same time, either through the local net or portables or computers or sided systems linked to those systems. 

But I don’t know any one who uses Linux:  Ask those who are around you. Look how many people could know or use Linux. For example in France selling Linux is exceeding the selling of Windows, and this seems to be true in America too. But we don't have evident so far. In an European referandom on the used working system, it was found that the majority use Linux system.

Dose my Device start Linux?  In fact, the most important advantages of Linux is that it could start any computer, in which there is a copy of this system for the installed systems on CPU of Intel and Power bi and else. For basic starting, you only use a CPU model of 386 Megabyte of hard disk150 and 16 of MG of the Ram.

Could I start Windows programes with the existence of linux system?  You don't need to use windows programes because you will find a compatible programme for each programe of Widows that it works on Linux system. Generally, there is a company that produces a serving programme helping you starting some of windows programes on Linux system and you will find on the company website a list that it continually refreshes the Windows programes that are available on Linux system.

How many the numbers of customers using Linux ?  The number of using this system reaches to 50 million and this number is increasing.  There are some websites that are interested in using Linux system. You will find the latest news on this system and main list helps you knowing all you want about Linux system. Those who are in charge of this website are a group of Arab youth having many targets, including:  Giving the opportunity for those who are interested in Linux system to exchange ideas and experiences.  Helping the new users working on the Linux through guiding and advising them to overcome their problems.  Finding a Forum for all who are interested in the open sources, especially the Linux system.  Working on analyzing Linux terminologies.  Examples on some of these websites are"a group of using the Arab Linux system".
