Project Goals 10

Project Goals Headcut Stabilization Stabilize Irrigation Diversion Facility Stabilize Channel Morphology Improve Fish Passage Prevent Stream Bank Erosion Vegetate Riparian Zone 11

Project Description 12

Project Description Cooperate with landowners to vegetate riparian zones, improving diversity and function, providing shade and preventing stream bank erosion. 13

Project Description Replace the pushup irrigation diversion and stabilize the headcut structure to improve adult and juvenile salmon, steelhead and bull trout passage. 14

Project Description Place root wads, anchored logs, J-hooks and W-weirs to provide safe migration corridors by reducing channel gradient, prevent channel migration, and provide stream bank erosion protection thereby reducing sedimentation. 15

Project Description Educate landowners on management practices that will enhance riparian zones. 16

Project Description Pursue Phase II - Next mile downstream to the Island City Bridge 17
