Presentation Tips presentation design: – be careful with amount of content per slide and scale text size & diagrams appropriately – watch use of colors – ensure clarity of text and diagrams – "PPS" trick delivery mechanics: – poise, style, volume & direction of delivery talk to audience, not to screen! – avoid annoying mannerisms hats, rambling, clapping, dancing, "ums", etc. – use slides as a guide but never read them verbatim! or notes cards.

'360 Stage 2 (Keyboard) Review reports: – some technical errors, format problems, incorrect/nonexistent use of referencing system no contractions in technical reports – no reports had full h/w description or significant s/w details – also need to use a standard format… 1.introduction 2.hardware details 3.software details 4.references 5.copy of presentation visuals! (as an appendix)

'360 Stage 2 (Keyboard) Review introduction section: – what is the project / assignment – objectives of the activity – goal of the report

'360 Stage 2 (Keyboard) Review software section should have included: – overview of s/w design – how to synchronize with keyboard transmissions and guarantee no data loss! – how to de-serialize keyboard transmissions – mapping of scancodes to ASCII codes – handling of "make"/"break" events – how to deal with multibyte codes – how to handle "modifier" keys – what kind of buffering is needed – concept of state
