My Bean Diary

First we got a pot. Then we filled it with soil. Next we planted our bean. Then we watered it.

We watched our bean. A shoot appeared. The roots started to grow.

More roots grow. The shoot grows taller.

Leaves start to grow. The roots grow longer.

The roots grow thick and long. More and more leaves grow. What do you think will happen to the plant next?

Leaves - the part of the plant which collects sunlight to make food for the plant. Roots - the part of the plant which keeps it firmly in the soil and takes in water. Stem - the part of the plant which holds the plant up. Seeds - plant them in the ground and they will grow into new plants.
