OVERCAME Revelation 12.11

Overcame  And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.  Satan Defeated  But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. Church of Laodicea  Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent  To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Challenge to overcome  Then David was angry because the Lord’s wrath had broken out against Uzzah, and to this day that place is called Perez Uzzah.  David was afraid of the Lord that day and said, “ How can the ark of the Lord ever come to me?”  He was not willing to take the ark of the Lord to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.  2 Samuel 6:8–10

Blessings for Overcomers  The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed him and his entire household.  Now King David was told, “The Lord has blessed the household of Obed-Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God.” So David went down and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with rejoicing. (2 Sa 6:11,12)

The only way to overcome  It was because you, the Levites, did not bring it up the first time that the Lord our God broke out in anger against us. We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way.  So the priests and Levites consecrated themselves in order to bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel.  And the Levites carried the ark of God with the poles on their shoulders, as Moses had commanded in accordance with the word of the Lord. 1 Chron 15:13-15

BLOOD OF JESUS  When those who were carrying the ark of the Lord had taken six steps, he sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf. (2 Sa 6:13).  It was not a very efficient way, effective only way to overcome the failures in our flesh.  Maybe you are experiencing problems in your marriage, your family, your business, or your relationships. Wherever you see problems—the lack of God’s glory and substance. Here is the solution

Worship & Joy  Now David was clothed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and as were the singers, and Kenaniah, who was in charge of the singing of the choirs. David also wore a linen ephod.  So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouts, with the sounding of rams’ horns and trumpets, and of cymbals, and the playing of lyres and harps. 1 Chr

Promised Presence of God  I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt to this day. I have been moving from place to place with a tent as my dwelling. (2 Sa 7:6)
