Ambition in Action TAA1 Advisory Activity Process All teachers appointed permanent on probation receive developmental support on a regular and ongoing basis during their first year of teaching. All new permanent teachers and temporary teachers TAA1 is completed between the 8 th and 12 th week The TAA1 is arranged at a mutually agreeable time. Ambition in Action Mandatory Training  TAA1 Advisers must have completed the appropriate TAA1 Assessment Training Program and be re-accredited every five years.  Both TAA2 Assessors must have completed the appropriate TAA1 and TAA2 Assessment Training Programs and be re-accredited every five years.  Teachers are encouraged to complete a TAA1 and TAA2 Preparation Workshop prior to attempting the activities  Advice on the next TAA1 and TAA2 Assessment Training Programs and workshops is available from the Teacher Education Coordinator – Staff Learning and Innovation Unit on and the L&I Calendar
