Centenes RSV Prevention and Management Program Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a major source of respiratory illness in children Certain high risk infants can develop severe illness and respiratory failure Centenes RSV prevention and management program focuses on: Education Identification Responsible utilization of immunoprophylaxis (Palivizumab) Result: Average length of hospital stay is lower 96% compliance with multiple dose therapy Our program helped save $8 million in 2010
