Preparing for an Interview Decide on an outfit and make sure that it is clean and pressed Make several copies of your resume, transcripts, letters or recommendation and a list of references Try to determine what questions they will be asking and practice your answers – you can not hesitate

Their Questions Strengths Weaknesses (make it sound like a strength) Tell a story about a time when… Activities you are involved in include… Why would they choose you? How would you describe yourself?

Your Answers Answer quickly Remember: Nonverbal cues are much louder than your words Always be positive Show that you have done research on this institution/employer Always have questions for them

After the Interview Send a hand written thank you letter to the person you spoke with during the interview Follow up on anything the interviewer may have asked you to do
