Plants & other chlorophyll bearing organisms cyanobacteria are the most amazing living things. They can capture solar energy and transform it into energy-rich compounds that can be used by living organisms. The process is called photosynthesis.

The leaves of a plant are the primary organs of photosynthesis.

Inside a leaf cell, there are green structures called chloroplasts. Hydrilla leaf cells Photosynthetic activity takes place inside the chloroplasts. A series of reactions occur in which solar energy is converted into chemical energy.
