Ohio Gang: Corrupt friends of Warren Harding 4. Teapot Dome: Harding administration scandal. Albert Fall. 5. Henry Ford: Assembly Line, mass production. Automobile. 6. Assembly Line: mass production. Prices fall, demand rises. 7. Roaring 20s: change in social culture of US. Modern thought. 8. Flapper: women who revolted against standard roles. 9. Harlem Renaissance: Birth of African American Culture in US during 1920s. Langston Hughes, Louis Armstrong, Apollo Theater. 10. Sacco and Vanzetti: 2 Italians wrongly accused and killed for a murder. Represent “nativist” fears in US during 20s.

11. Immigration act of 1924: Limited immigration from Southern and Eastern Europe. Response to RED SCARE. 12. Prohibition: Ban the sale, production, distribution of alcohol. 18 th amendment. 13.
