Renewable energies

Wind power (i.e. wind turbines) Water power (i.e. hydroelectric power) Solar energy use (solar cells) Biofuel (i.e. Biogas) Geothermal energy Photovoltaic power plants Biomass (i.e. wood) Bioenergies

The energy crisis affecting the world economy, together with the Climate Change Alarm generated from the entry in the atmosphere of increasing quantities of carbon dioxide (the main greenhouse-gas) are attracting an increasing emphasis on the role of renewable sources.

Bioenergies Bioenergy express a greater and widespread relationship with the territory. Bioenergy are considered all-derived products or residues from agriculture and forestry. In the region of Veneto there is a great demand for information and technical assistance. For a vigorous public presence, neutral and objective complete, the Institution “Veneto Agricultura” has set up a Strategic Action for bioenergy.

Bioenergies  Strategic Action for bioenergy This section of the site “Veneto Agricultura” gives information on key services, activities and results of “Veneto Agricultura” on bioenergy. Our region, Veneto, has favorable conditions for all major sectors bioenergy: - Wood-Energy - Biogas - Biofuels biodiesel, bioethanol, vegetable oil fuel

“Countryside Friend”: the project “Countryside Friend” Foundation is a point of reference for anyone interested in the fate of the environment and land use, the quality of consumption and lifestyles: people, institutions, consumer associations, research centers, farmers, businesses. To this: * Makes obvious points of excellence in the food industry and the proposed farm, * Enhances and makes known the typical products of our territory, * Initiates and supports campaigns for protection of the heritage of forests, lakes and rivers, * Contributes to the development of renewable energy, * Monitors prices, lifestyles and eating habits, * Provide personal services, * Produces tools for knowledge and information for proper food and education to promote virtuous lifestyle for the environment and consumption. Thanks to a network of skilled animators, the “Countryside Friend” Foundation is present throughout the country.

“Countryside Friend” Foundation “Countryside Friend” Foundation seeks to protect the interests of citizens, consumers, farmers about the issues of environment and land, the quality of consumption and lifestyles. Food, energy, waste disposal, social, technological innovation are topics that are in the enhancement of the countryside and rural development a matter of great strategic importance for the whole country. The Foundation is an engine of aggregation of several instances that are already active on these issues. Produce information and services to people, associations, citizens, consumers and farmers.
